nastja89 comes back from her Europe trip, we'll sit down and watch "The Nightmare before Christmas" and "The Corpse Bride" together. I think I'll let her watch the "Nightmare" first and then observe her reaction on the "Corpse Bride". I wonder which one of the two will she like more =)Burton instantly added a dash of magic to my life. I'm just full of appreciation. )

Date: 2007-07-03 07:11 am (UTC)I love Tim Burton. Full stop. I need to get some more of him. What would you recommend? There is a certain movie called "Big Fish" and I read good reviews about it... And I think there are some other animations, too. I need to google for it.

Date: 2007-07-03 03:32 pm (UTC)The only other animation he had anything to do with was those extra's I told you about on the Special Edition of Nightmare called "Vincent" and "Frankenweenie." He helped produce "James and the Giant Peach" which is based on the Roald Dahl story and done very well. It's the same type of animation and music as "Corpse Bride" and "Nightmare" are. A must see.
Other Burton films I like alot are: Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, I think you said you already saw Sleepy Hollow, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure ( if Pee-Wee Herman does not get on your nerves, that is ), and the first two Batman movies; Batman and Batman Returns.

See all the things the guy has done? The one's I listed are just the one's he's directed, except for, as I said, James and the Giant Peach. Just as Corpse Bride and Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim did not direct those. He wrote the stories and helped to produce those. The man is very prolific and in my opinion, quite the creative genius.
